What Secure Score is
Secure Score is a tool within Microsoft 365 that measures how well your environment is configured against Microsoft’s security recommendations — things like MFA coverage, admin account hygiene, mail security and device settings. You get a percentage, and a ranked list of the actions that would improve it.
Why it’s useful
- It’s objective — the same yardstick for every business
- It’s specific — each recommendation is an action, not a vague warning
- It’s trackable — you can watch the number climb as the work gets done
