Sitting at the gate waiting for my flight to Sydney — and I’ve got Claude doing the hard yakka while I wait.
Yesterday I got to be the local voice at Warwick Taylor’s AI workshop in Whangārei — “AI, finally explained in plain bloody English.” A room full of Northland business owners, real questions & some good honest chat about what AI actually looks like on the ground.
The feedback since has meant a lot
David: “Really good presentation — you engaged the room the most, which is hard going being last up. Pretty sure the cameras came out to photograph your slides the most too.”
John-Lee rang me the next morning — “I really enjoyed it, I was sitting there thinking about my own IT setup.” Already booked in to give them a hand.
Flynn: “Well done — good cases & humour. The whole afternoon was interesting.”
Big thanks to Warwick for having me & pulling the room together.
Next stop: Sydney
Now for SMBiT Professionals Next Level — always good to get in a room with other MSPs & swap what’s actually working.
